How to Connect Yotpo SMS (with Klaviyo Email) in Hiro

If you're managing a client who uses Klaviyo for email and Yotpo for SMS, Hiro now supports bringing both platforms together.

How do I connect Yotpo SMS for a Klaviyo client?

  1. Select the client from the account dropdown in Hiro

  2. Go to the Client Settings page

  3. Click Connect Yotpo

  4. In another tab, log into Yotpo for the corresponding client

  5. Accept the integration prompt

  6. You’ll be redirected to Hiro’s account page — the SMS data backfill will begin automatically

  7. You’ll receive an email once the backfill is complete


Where will I see the Yotpo SMS data?

Yotpo SMS data will appear:

  • Alongside Klaviyo email data in campaign and flow views

  • In the report generator

  • In the custom dashboard

  • Within the agency view

Wherever you usually expect SMS data to appear for Klaviyo clients, Yotpo SMS data will now be included.


What are the limitations with Yotpo SMS data?

Due to the way Yotpo’s API works, there are a few important differences to keep in mind:

  • No order-level data

Yotpo does not provide order-level attribution, so Hiro only shows total revenue attributed to SMS campaigns or flows — not specific products or customer segments.

  • No product-level data in campaign deep dives

If you filter to Yotpo SMS campaigns, the “products purchased” column will be blank.

  • No message-level breakdowns in flows

Hiro displays flow-level data for Yotpo, but does not show individual message performance within a flow.

  • No visibility into new vs. repeat customer revenue

Since we can’t access order data, metrics like first-time vs. returning customer revenue will appear as zero — even if those conversions happened.


How are revenue numbers calculated?

Each platform (Klaviyo and Yotpo) reports its own attributed revenue.
Hiro does not de-duplicate or adjust for potential double attribution — we report what each platform claims independently.


Can I filter or tag Yotpo-specific data?

Yes. In the Flow Deep Dive, Yotpo flows are automatically tagged. You can:

  • Filter out Yotpo flows if you only want to see Klaviyo data

  • Analyze each Yotpo flow by total metrics (just not per-message)


Does this work with custom dashboards and agency views?

Yes! Yotpo SMS performance will show up in:

  • Custom Dashboards

  • Report Generator

  • Agency View summaries

Note: Subscriber counts and any metric relying on order-level insight will be unavailable.
