How to Use Customizable Client-Facing Dashboards in Hiro

We're excited to introduce customizable client-facing dashboards — one of our most requested features!

Who can access the customizable dashboards?

If your account has beta access, you can start using this feature right away.
If not, just Slack us and we’ll enable it for your account.


What can I customize on the dashboard?

A lot! Here's what's currently customizable:

  • Time periods

  • Time series

  • Order filters (e.g. subscription vs. non-subscription, by locale)

  • Card contents (statistics, charts, tables)

  • Client branding (logo and colors)


What’s included by default in the dashboard layout?

The default layout includes:

  • Homepage performance summary

  • Campaign and flow performance (sorted by revenue)

  • List growth (email and SMS)

  • First-time vs. returning customers

  • Attributed revenue breakdown

  • Campaign and flow deliverability

  • Example card (for testing and customization)


How do I edit a dashboard card?

Each card is made up of three components:

  1. Statistic

  2. Chart

  3. Table

To customize a card:

  1. Click Edit

  2. Choose which block type you’re editing (Statistic, Chart, or Table)

  3. Add or remove metrics as needed

  4. Save each block

  5. Save the entire card

For example, if your client doesn’t use SMS, you can remove all SMS-related metrics from each block.


Can I add new metrics?

Yes! You can search and insert metrics like:

  • Revenue per recipient

  • % of total store revenue

  • % of attributed revenue

Just type keywords like revenue, percent, or recipient in the dropdown and select the appropriate metric.


Can I add or remove dashboard cards?

Yes. You can:

  • Delete cards you don’t need

  • Add new cards from scratch or duplicate and edit the example card

  • Rename cards, change the card type, and choose which metrics to display

Note: Card order is currently fixed, but drag-and-drop reordering is coming soon.


What components can be included in a card?

Cards can contain:

  • A statistic

  • A chart

  • A table

Some cards include all three, while others may only include one or two. You can always edit a card to add missing components.


Can I filter data by campaign, flows, or segments?

Yes. We support:

  • Email campaign tables

  • Flow performance summaries

  • Saved views

  • Form performance

  • Segment growth (if you're using Klaviyo)


Can I brand the dashboard for clients?

Absolutely. You can:

  • Upload your logo

  • Choose your brand color

  • Preview the dashboard exactly as it will appear to your client
